Fenugreek Essential Oil

Botanical Name: Trigonella Foenum 

Aromatherapy uses: 

It is used for painful menstruation, labor pains and insufficient lactation. It is often used for weight loss, anorexia and for poor appetite. Applied topically, this essential oil can kill bacteria stimulate circulation, and reduce swelling.

These qualities have led to many people using fenugreek oil in home remedies for acne, boils. Strong in its pure and concentrated form, fenugreek oil is often sold in oil blends which use carrier oils like olive oil and sesame oil to dilute it; occasionally, other essential oils like cinnamon oil are added. 

Other Uses Fenugreek is very popular in breast firming and enlarging products.Can be added to your own body cream and massaged into the skin or made up with a carrier oil of your choice.

Widely used in Indian cooking,it does not have a pleasant smell but when you cook with it it turns sweet. Fenugreek is also very popular in the fishing industry Fishing baits again to attract fish.

May cause skin irritation. Dilute well before use.
